Six of the 100 suspected Boko Haram members declared wanted by the army have been arrested in Lagos.
Ibrahim Ali, Abubakar Ahmed, Goigoi Kamsalem, Ibrahim Mohammed, Banagana Blam Ali and Adam were arrested last Friday by vigilantes.
According to the Nation, the Seriki Hausawa in Ijora, Alhaji Mustapha Mohammed, said Adam was arrested inside a 40-foot container in an abandoned container inside a church in Festac Town.

Iyanya had dropped a comment on his page thanking everyone who supported him on his US tour. Dondemoe's comment was quickly deleted from Iyanya's page minutes later.

Mrs Eunice is a female pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and mother of seven.

British weightlifter passes out moments after setting world record
Eddie Hall, a British weightlifter known as 'The Beast' almost died after becoming the first man in history to lift half a ton - 500kg. The 28-year-old fell to his knees and passed out moments after the feat while his wife Alexandra and two children could be seen in the crowd looking worried but broke into smiles when he got to his feet.
He completed the challenge at the World Deadlift Championships at Leeds Arena. Now he wants to compete and win the World's Strongest Man competition.
He said : "That nearly killed me. The pressure on my body was surreal. I passed out after. I had nose bleeds. It's not healthy doing something like that. But I've done it. I'm sure it will be in the history books for a very long time. I don't want to do it again but if it comes to the point where somebody breaks it, hell...I may just do.
"It's that great feeling, Like the first man on the moon, the first man to run a mile in under four minutes. And now I'm the first to deadlift half a ton. It's history and I'm very proud to be a part of it.
"The World's Strongest Man title is my dream. And I will keep pushing the limits until that happens. It's going to happen."

An illegal immigrant from Zimbabwe who squeezed himself into his friend's luggage shocked people at the South African border when he emerged from the traveling box after he couldn't endure the pains on his limbs. After 45 minutes of squeezing himself in the box, passengers were shocked at the BeitBridge Border post when they heard moans coming from the bag.
“The tall man in his early 20’s had squeezed himself into the case and was wheeled onto a Mercedes Benz Sprinter, disguised as his friend’s luggage. But the discomfort took its toll after 45 minutes, causing him to wail,” iMzansi reports.
“Shocked passengers alerted authorities after hearing strange noises coming from the unattended bag. Guards removed the case from the vehicle at Beitbridge and were stunned when a human hand emerged.”

Woman With HIV Opens Up: My name is Brenda; I am not HIV, I am Living with HIV
25yrs old Lebogang Brenda Motsumi is an HIV positive mother of one. Brenda is now an HIV activist and working towards an Aids free generation. Read an inspiring post she shared on Facebook:
"Good morning, my name is Lebogang Brenda Motsumi aka African Queen. I am NOT HIV, I am LIVING with HIV. I am not the virus, the virus lives in me. I am not defined by HIV, but I define HIV."
Brenda found out she was HIV positive in 2009 after she read an article by a popular guy whom she dated.
In the article, the man revealed his status and said he was sick. She got tested and was diagnosed with HIV. However, she lived in denial until 2011 when she finally accepted her status on discovering that she was pregnant.
She took ARVs to protect her child. She went back to partying and drinking after the birth of her daughter.
"Since I was not looking sick I thought there was nothing wrong so I went back to living my life until I got very sick in August and I came to the decision that HIV is real and its for me to move on for my family and daughter. It's for me to accept it and live positively.

Former Presidential aspirant, Umaru Shinkafi's remains have arrived Sokoto International airport for his burial today.
Shinkafi died after battling multiple diseases that affected his internal organs. at a hospital in London on Wednesday July 6th, his corpse arrived this morning and was received by the state governor, Aminu Tambuwal, Zamfara state governor AbdulAzeez Yari and other Northern state governors.
He is survived by three wives and five children. One of his daughters Zainab Bagudu, pictured below, is the first lady of Kebbi state while another of his daughters, Hadiza Yari is married to Zamfara state governor, AbdulAzeez Yari. More pics below.
Armed robber who tried to steal 400k beaten to a bloody mess in Niger state (graphic)
According to online reports, jungle justice was meted out on an armed robber who trailed his victim from a bank in Kpakukun, Minna, Niger state Capital earlier today.
The alleged thief robbed the man who was said to be with about N400,000 -at gunpoint.
He however got unlucky when a group of youths blocked his escape and descended on him. They beat him to a very bloody and grisly mess, before the arrival of police who took him away.

The Second Republic governor of old Oyo State, Omololu Olunloyo, has denounced his daughter, controversial social media personality Kemi Omololu Olunloyo, for directing verbal attacks at him and other notable individuals.
The former leader also revealed in a heart-breaking statement on Thursday that Kemi, 52, had a history of mental illness and several efforts by the family and other well-wishers to moderate her erratic behaviour have been fruitless.
